That's only because the debut of their OptiSplitstic Splitboard let us know they mean business when it comes to backcountry boarding. Using their Optimistic snowboard as the outline, the OptiSplitstic uses the same directional pintail shape, rigid flex, and tight camber profile to cut through hardpack and skin tracks while loftily gliding over deep powder. Yes. also teamed up with Spark R&D to make special clips that keep the seal tight when the board's halves are attached ensuring its rigid flex isn't weakened while riding.
