Why We Like The Venture TCS Tire
Among WTB's most versatile drop bar tires, the Venture delivers optimal performance across a wide range of conditions to serve as a truly set-it-and-forget-it gravel tire for riders who demand traction on any surface they ride. Elevated centerline ridges provide consistent working edges that dig in whether hammering up a climb or leaning into a turn. Two rows of outer knobs provide confidence regardless of how hard you’re cornering while also providing substantial sidewall protection. The Venture is the tire of choice when the destination is unknown but you’re sure to encounter a variety of terrain along the way.

Should hold up great
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These tires came on my new bike. The front tire was perfect, the back had some issues staying full even with no rides on it yet. It was a slight headache having to get that full so I could ride the bike but Back Country helped me out throughout the process. With 3 failed attempts at keeping air in the tires, with the help of the local bike shop who helped reseal, retape, and examine, Back Country sent out a new tire free of charge and it has been holding great. I think the initial tire must have been an outlier on these tires since the local bike mechanics said WTB tires are usually perfect quality. But I got past that issue and now I am able to ride around without worry and Back Country came through by providing a replacement tire.
