Great length and fit
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I didn't buy these for biking, but because it's difficult to find shorts that aren't short shorts or mid thigh shorts for women. Love them length and fit of these. Perfect for kayaking and other outdoor activities. Gave it four stars because the material is a little stiff. Runs true to size. I have a 26 inch waist and 115 lbs and size 2 fit me per normal.

Does not run small
Totally disagree with the reviewers that say this runs small - I’m typically a 4 or a 6 in Athleta / Lululemon, and even a 6 can be pretty snug in Lulu specifically. I ordered a 6 in these and am debating returning - they stay up, but the waistband gaps a ton. 5’4 125 pounds for reference 5 stars otherwise because they seem great quality, and I ordered a size too large due to these reviews, not the company

Fun Patterns and Pocket Fits a Phone
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
My criteria for buying a new pair of bike shorts was that it would hold my iPhone where I could get it out easily. I am normally biking with my kids and like to have easy access to it to snap a photo or check trail forks. I haven't been out with them on the bike yet, but the pocket fit my phone and seemed easy to get to! Sizing... I typically wear a size 4 or 6 pant/short or a Size Small. I was struggling to get a grasp on sizing based on reviews so I ordered and 4 and 6. The 6 fit way better, especially with a chamois. The 4 was a but snug around the hips and thighs. I would say it probably runs pretty true to size given that I wear a 4 or 6. But I would err on the side of caution and order your larger size if you also wear two differnt sizes.

My absolute favorite shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I really love these shorts. The fit is perfect -- not too baggy (like some shorts I own) but not constricting either. I love the four-way stretch. I found that they run true to size. My usual size 4 fit perfectly, though if you want them to fit a little looser it might be good to size up. And I'm all about the patterns -- who doesn't want sloths on their bike shorts?! I'd recommend these to anyone and I plan to give them as gifts to all my MTB lady friends.

WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
THESE ARE THE SHORTS WOMEN HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! They are SO CUTE, so easy to clean, so comfortable, and 100% for mountain biking. I'm obsessed. (Yes, I should've been wearing a helmet in my photo - I forgot it. I'm sorry everyone) XD

Love the fit but returned
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I ordered the geo dot pattern thinking they were black. They are not black, so I returned... But I do love the fit of these and have them in other colors :)

Cute, stretchy, comfy, flattering
- Familiarity:

I saw these shorts and decided to take a chance on them. I read the other reviewers' reviews to get an idea on sizing. I was between sizes on the Wild Rye Size Chart. I am 5' 100lbs. I ordered both the 2 and the 4. When I tried them on, the Size 2 fit me much better than the 4 which was too big everywhere. I have and use both compression and baggy shorts when I mountain bike. I usually do not look great in the baggy look. I am petite and tend to look overwhelmed or lost in them. When I tried these on, I was quite pleasantly surprised. They actually looked good on me. I think it is because they have a different profile or outline to them from most of the baggy mountain bike shorts out there which I think are designed for men . They are not that wide in the thighs and quads, but then flare out a little around the knee. The nearest thing I can liken them to is a capri/knicker bell-bottom or flare pant. Additionally, the length of these shorts in the size 2 was just right for me even though I am short. It hit at the knee. Most of these baggy shorts are usually way too long on me. The material is four way stretch, an improvement over most other mountain bike shorts which are only two way stretch. There is no adjustment for the waist either on the outside or the inside of these shorts. So, they either will fit you or they won't. Fortunately for me, they fit. I usually take anywhere from a size 2 to a size 6 in most pants/shorts, so ending up with the Size 2 is in the ballpark.

Love them!

These are so cute, so comfortable and super flattering. They are really stretchy which makes them great for any ride. I love the pattern too - really fun! They have a nice zipper pocket and front hand pockets. I feel like these do run small, as I usually wear a 0 or sometimes 2 in most things, and I got the 4 in these. You may want to consider sizing up a size.

Love them!
I first ordered a 6 given the reviews but sent back for the 4 (my usual size in most brands, but Patagonia/Prana wear 6 -slight loose better than slight tight). They are very stretchy and as other reviewer said they stretch out. 6 would still have worked and 4 a little tight at first but they stretch out (I am 5'8" 139 more broad shoulders and slimmer thighs if that helps anyone).
