Why We Like The Standard Road Tube

Vittoria's Standard Road Tube is something we should have on us at all times when we're on our bikes. Its butyl rubber retains air better than latex, and a 0.9-millimeter wall thickness is rugged without being bulky. We're seeing puncture-resistant and airtight performance that lets us roll on for endless miles, and its general purpose use means it's great for everyday riders.

Excellent tubes

These are the tubes I need for my 700x28 folding tires and the price is right.

Removable valve core leaks

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My tire is constantly going flat. The removable valve core won't stay tightened enough to maintain recommended tire pressure. Good thing the tube is only intended for use with my winter tires and those will be swapped out soon.

It's a tube

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Pretty good, basic tube. Nothing too fancy and it does the trick. It has been fairly durable thus far with a thousand or so miles on them and no flats yet.
