Martello G2.0 Enduro Tire
Designed for aggressive trail riding and enduro applications, the Martello G2.0 Enduro Tire holds its ground in a wide array of conditions. Whether you're riding fast and slick hardpack, or some seriously steep and loose terrain, the moto-block knobs and progressive siping dig deep to find traction in places there shouldn't be. Now, Vittoria takes the Martello's performance a step further with their revised Graphene 2.0 compound, which significantly improves grip in wet conditions. This particular tire also takes advantage of Vittoria's new Trail TNT casing, providing additional sidewall and pinch flat protection without any added weight.
The updated Graphene 2.0 compound consists of four different durometers of rubber in the tread, each one strategically placed for the best combination of low rolling resistance, cornering stability, grip, and longevity. Graphene 2.0 essentially takes Vittoria's original Graphene-infused compound and improves upon it in every way, with special attention given to boost wet weather performance. Pair this with the increased puncture resistance offered by the Trail TNT casing, and you've got a tire that's ready to take on demanding terrain in any environment.

Great Enduro Tire Easy Instal
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is easier to instal than a Maxxis Double Down but is just as tough. Not sure why another reviewer had such trouble. The compound is a consistent with a Maxx Terra and holds up extremely well. I ditched my inserts because I feel confident even with low OSI.

Great traction, miserable installation
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Nearly returned it, it was so difficult to get onto the bead. I installed my Maxxis tires with just a floor pump with no issues, but these I had to use an air compressor blow nozzle, remove the valve core, and strap around the circumference of the tire to get it to go on. The width is much closer to my 2.4 in the rear than my hardtail's 2.8s. The carcass looks pretty square on my 31mm rim. I wouldn't run it on anything wider. Traction is fantastic, and has actual transition traction, unlike the DHR II that came off. It's grippy and predictable in every turn, and bites much better. The initial bite is so much sharper that the bike actually feels like the head angle is slightly steeper. The rolling resistance is pretty good, tied my Strava PR on an asphalt climb that I'm pretty sure I set on my hardtail. Felt good on the handful of rocks I've ridden, too. If it has a weakness that I've encountered, it's greasy hardpack. The 2.8 Rekons on my hardtail do a better job, but not by a ton. Overall, great tire. Might get a second one for the rear.
