Wanted to Love Them But Couldnt
I wanted to love these but unfortunately I couldn't even get these on past my knees. I am a true size small, and I purchased the size small and that's as far up as they went. The size of the waist is very questionable, the sizing was completely off.

Leggings to try for the first time. meaning the brand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is something I really wanted to purchase from North Face I always try any other leggings brands it was time for North Face didn't wear yet so so far are a great material. Hope they will be comfortable too.

Not what you?d expect
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Run at least 1-2 sizes too small?they were skin tight, almost like compression shorts. Not sure if a bigger size would be better or not. I wanted to love them because they have a nice outer layer but awkward overall

Not Winter Warm
I purchased a pair of The North Face Winter Warm leggings a year ago. Loved them. They were fleece lined and I wore the heck out of them. When I saw Winter Warm leggings again this year I was happy to see them being made again and purchased another pair. They are NOT the same. First of all, fit is completely off. My last pair were a large because I wanted them slightly loose - these I can't even get over my thighs and I've lost 10 pounds since I purchased the other pair (so I know its not me)! Second, these are not fleece lined which was a huge factor for me. Why in the world would a company re-use the name from one product on another if it wasn't the same? Bad marketing. North Face needs to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Trust these reviews ladies!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tights are horrible! I have bought NF winter warm tights for years and have never been disappointed! These... I placed the return label on the package as soon I received them. I have been so disappointed with their products the last couple of years. They have sold out to cheaper materials. Please bring back the old tights.... So sad!!!!

Just not stretchy enough.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were intresting. I wanted to like them. I was looking for climbing leggings and these werent very comfortable from a stretch perspective, but had a lot of good qualties from a robustness perspective. I'm not that curvey. I'm a size 2 in most pants. The small fit but couldnt see myself grabbing these for a hike considering they just werent that comfortable.

Warm and water resistant but weird sizing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tights are really warm and seem water resistant along the front thigh and lower leg. I love the leg pocket-perfect for an iPhone. My one beef is that the water resistant material isn't very stretchy, nor is the seam stitching so the fit is odd. I had to size up from small (what the size chart indicated I should get) to medium to get the waistband over my butt comfortably since it isn't super stretchy, which means the waist is a bit big on me and they want to ride down. It might also be due to my height (5'8") and fact that the seams are hitting me differently than someone shorter, but the lack of stretch in the leg seams also contributes to the riding down. Maybe I should've sized up to a large, but something seems off with design if people who are size 4 have to buy larges...that doesn't feel particularly size inclusive!

Great cool weather tights
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these do run small, I went up a size to what I normally buy in tights and they fit comfortably, getting them on at first was really tight but once up they fit like a glove. I am 5'7 and the length is perfect, hits exactly as a full length tight should, the high rise waist also comes just over my belly button which I love. While these do feel warm I am yet to take them on cold trail. The material is thick and feels comfy, they feel like a soft shell jacket for your legs! I am happy they aren't fleece lined, I want to wear them on high output hikes in cold weather and don't want the fleece for that. These are designed for active pursuits and not cozying up with a coffee in the snow. I would have liked to have seen more renforcement in the bottom but I can see without it, it does give much more flexibility. If you are on the fence if you should try them, but they seem like the type of tight you are looking for, get them. I think the other reviews unfairly shamed these.
