A versatile midweight offering, the Verto's perfect for moderately technical alpine ascents, with a Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane to keep you dry and a sticky Vibram Mulaz outsole to handle all sorts of slippery, wet, and icy terrain. It's compatible with hybrid crampons, and has more cushioning and support than you could shake three sticks at—a Northotic Pro+ EVA footbed, OrthoLite forefoot pads, a TPU shank and foot cradle, and a PU chassis are just some of the stable and supportive features. The Smartlite PU mudguard keeps, you know, mud from coating the boot's upper, and the traditional lacing system keeps things simple, so you can dial in the perfect fit without dealing with funky closure systems.
