From urban exploring to peak bagging, we stay cool and comfortable in the Sprag 5-Pocket Pant. The stretchy material and gusseted crotch allow full range of motion for rock scrambling and wrangling the kids. Although The North Face tells us these pants have 5 pockets, we forgive them for sneaking in a discreet zippered pocket where we can secure our keys while on the trail.

Nice fit, just more "outdoorsy"
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I was looking for a pant that I could wear to work and the woods. I know those pants exist, and these were more just a camping pant. Great fit, but it's the material that's straight nylon.

Favorite Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two pairs now and hope they come back in stock soon. The are lightweight, quick drying and have some stretch. Good for hiking, travel, casual or even casual office wear. They have a little bit of extra room so not slim fit or too baggy. Love them!!

Great pants, need more colors, never stop making these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make more colors and I'll buy them. I would prefer just a slight taper to the leg for stylistic reasons as these are really for casual wear. They're not warm at all, but at least they're good for three seasons. I wear them in the winter anyway just because they're so versatile and comfortable. A heavy-weight version would be cool.

Water repellent/quick dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best pants for daily commute! Sometimes it rains waiting for the train to work and a jacket can only do so much so these pants are life savers. Cheers for not waiting all day for pants to dry at work.

North Face Sprag Pants in Black Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the North Face Sprag Pants in black. For the record, I also have 4 of these in the dark gray color and 1 in the light beige color. That should tell you that these are my favorite pants. The best qualities of the pants are that they are very lightweight, extremely comfortable, very stretchy, and are more breathable than the jeans and khaki pants I used to wear. I got rid of those a long time ago. Plus the nylon used in these pants have lasted so far. The cotton khakis would fray by the waistline and where it rubs against my shoes and be replaced about every year. The other thing I really like is that these Sprag pants are so versatile. It replaced both my jeans and khaki pants. So any situation in which those were used, I now use these instead. At work these are great, while hiking these are great, or just going out these work just fine unless there is some very strict dress code. The pants has technical details without making it look obvious, which is why I was willing to try these in the first place. The North Face Sprag Pants are an easy 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. By the way, I bought so many of these pants in case they decide to retire the model. Think they did that with the shorts version of these already.

Not my style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants style is nice but the material is to thin for my liking.
