Much shorter than expected.
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Would be great light weight shorts, but way shorter than they should be. The Tech specs box says under the heading, Length: "Knee". The product pic shows them above the knee on the model, which I assume is probably around 6'. I'm only 5'7" and they were like 3" above the knee. And because they are a bit of a slim fit, they rode up a lot more with every step.

The Shorts Work for Tennis Too
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I now have three pairs of these Shorts. Each in a different color. I purchased them because they have a back pocket and nowadays it’s very hard to find a tennis short with a back pocket for putting your wallet in after your workout. I purposely bought the shorts too big so I can get tennis balls in the front left pocket. The pockets are deep enough to hold a couple of tennis balls securely. The downside of this short is the material always looks wrinkly and the pockets gather up at the bottom seams of the pockets. When I wear the shorts it looks like I had them crumpled up in a drawer. I don’t care because they function perfectly for my needs.

Universal Shorts (Swim/Hike/Run/etc)
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are more universal mountain shorts; great on the trail, good enough to go swimming and dry out quickly, etc. Whatever you want to do, these are awesome for the most part. I wouldn't wear them in the bike park, they don't play well with hard crashes and rocks.

Great Hiking Shorts
Bought these since I was getting sick of hiking in gym shorts. These are light, more comfortable and dry faster. I like the elastic waistband as opposed to more traditional shorts with a zipper and button. I got the regular length shorts and they ride just above the knee which is perfect. The fit is rather slim, but the shorts still provide a great range of motion. I can't say if these run large or small since my pant sizes tend to be all over the place. Based on the sizing chart, I ordered a medium but they were too tight, so I returned them and sized up to a large.
