The Canyonlands Full-Zip Jacket is a favorite among desert dwellers, and it's now made with recycled fleece for an earth-loving impression. This jacket's stretchy hard-faced fleece retains body heat and allows airflow while we're spending our morning belaying in Indian Creek or hiking to Horseshoe Canyon. The smooth outer fabric withstands wear and wind when traveling through abrasive environments, and its brushed backer adds an extra dose of comfort for early mornings at camp.

I would buy again this product again
Warm and stylish. This down hoodie is lightweight yet provides excellent insulation. Great for everyday wear

Not your original Canyonlands. Terrible quality. Don't buy
I have two Canyonlands Full-Zip jackets bought in 2016-2017 that I absolutely love. I just bought a new one (Nov '24) and it's a completely different product. Cheap, shiny, lightweight fabric that won't last a couple of washes. Horrible craftsmanship. Looks and feels like a cheap knock-off. Be wary of positive reviews, those were probably made before quality went downhill.

Bought this jacket for my dad, he loves how lightweight it is.

Love this jacket
This fleece is one of my favorites. I own four in different colors. I only wish North Face would return to logos dyed in matching colors.

Solid jacket
Soft inside. More snug fit than expected but I like. Between fitted and loose.

Excellent, but more color options please
The men's Canyonlands full-zip fits true to size, is very comfortable, and provides adequate warmth for those outdoor walks on fall days. I continue to be impressed with how TNF has matured the Canyonlands line-up over the past few years (I've owned a few of these and this year's version feels like the most comfortable one yet). You can't go wrong with this gem and the only reason why I didn't rate it 5 stars is that aside from TNF Black color (which I purchased), the remaining available color selections (Olive Heather, Med Grey Heather, Shady Blue Heather) are uninterestingly pedestrian. C'mon team, these are not exciting at all. I would strongly, strongly encourage the Product Development team to make the following color options available for the full-zip version for 2025: Beetroot, TNF Blue, TNF Red, Smokey Brown, Summit Navy, Pine Green.

I would buy it again
I believe this is my fifth Canyonlands fleece jacket. I really love them for the extra chest pocket, the nice fit, and the perfect weight for fall and early winter as a mid-layer.

Old models were much better
The Canyonlands used to be my go-to zip up, but each year they have changed for the worse. The waist, cuffs and collar used to hemmed, now they use an elastic piping that is nowhere near as comfortable. They've also changed the main zipper to a finer tooth that bunches up and looks terrible. Each model change has gotten progressively worse in quality, yet more expensive. I won't be purchasing any more of these. Too bad, they used to be my favorite.

Declining Quality
The quality of these continues to decline each season. I have older versions which have held up wonderfully but this feels more like a reusable shopping bag than a jacket

Fit is too baggy
I liked the material, but the fit was much too baggy. I am 6'2" 185lbs and THF jackets and sweaters in the XL normally fit just right. The canyonlands full-zip jacket XL fit in length, but was way too big in the body.
