Good house shoes for custom insoles
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I wanted to try these out with my custom insoles; it's been pretty difficult to find shoes that 1) fit them adequately without smooshing my feet and 2) come in designs I actually want to wear. I was a little worried when I first got them--I ordered a size up than my usual (went with size 11) just to make sure they fit my inserts. They fit pretty well once I removed the included insole, but were a still bit tight, which surprised me. I'm usually able to wear my inserts with my normal size 10s, so I was shocked that at a size larger it was still that tight. I thought about returning them, but decided to try them out for a little bit around the house to make sure. They've turned into my everyday shoe. I work from home, so having a comfortable shoe that fits my custom insoles and are easy to put on and take off is crucial. The fit has relaxed considerably, and they are incredibly comfortable to wear. If you're looking for shoes to accommodate medical gear, these have worked well for me.

Cozy shoes
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I got these in an 8 women's. Great comfort, attractive, not too wide, and nice camping shoes. I think these are a little short in the slipper mode, but when I pull the back up they are a very good fit. Hinch 4 stars. If I decide to get another pair, I would probably get them in the unsex size from reading some of the new reviews. Got the black with the gold pull tab on top. Very nice cozy camping slippers. Need to make these in half sizes, but they aren't.... go figure. I normally wear an 8 according to the fit. I tried on a pair of these in a W- 8 in a store and they were a better fit. Tells me that some differences occur, better to try on and buy when you find right color and fit in store. Anyway love them, Backcountry is a great store and very helpful if you need assistance. I'am keeping these, they are wonderful.

LOVED from First Try-On!!!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Oh-so-Comfy, durable, lightweight, fun mustard color and wear-around-ability makes this my favorite new buy! No "sloppiness" on foot/heel as I typically find in slipper-shoes! So delighted that I also just purchased the 50%-off (!!) ReEMBER Fleece Moc Slipper - Women's - in Sand Dune color for the cooler months!!! HAPPY FEET!

I really wanted to be in love with these
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I really wanted to be in love with these, but I'm just not. Meant to be more of a slipper than a shoe, they offer no support or protection, but they do keep my toes warm. My biggest complaint is the way the shoe fits and the slip back. I am a true size 7, but when I wear the slip back down and just wear the shoe as a slipper, the shoe feels too small for this and my heels hang off the back. When I wear the slip back up and wear these as shoes, the slip back is weak, and slides around when I walk. I pretty much only wear these shoes around the house and occasionally out to the grocery store if I'm too lazy to put anything else on. Even if they fit weird, at least they're cute and warm!

cozy and practical
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have the women's version of these, and got a pair for my mom for christmas. My dad and brother were envious of our coziness and demanded a pair as well! We all love them, they're super comfy and convenient for when you want to use them as a slipper or have a little more security moving around outside. My dad mostly wears them around the house, but my brother and I use them indoors and out. Especially when pre/post climbing and skiing! Being a half size (6.5), I sized down (6) and felt that was perfect.

Slipper or Shoe?
- Familiarity:

I?m really not sure if slippers are allowed in public, but I?ve been wearing these out non stop. Style & comfort all in one. Jeans & sweats, this is the shoe!

so cute, but not made for high instep
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I love these shoes, the color, the material, but unfortunately I have to return them. I have a very high instep and they are too tight on the top of my foot to get on easily and to be comfortable. I suspect they are great for people with "normal" feet but beware if you have high arches or insteps because you may have the same problem I did.
