Feels very secure and warm
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I tried this on and it fits securely. I am always too warm and the ear flaps are not removable. Still I do recommend it if you like warm.

Won't stay buckled!!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
What good is a spiffy new helmet with all the safety features, if it won't even stay on your head in a crash? The magnetic buckle is the worst. To begin with, its much more difficult to to buckle with your gloves on when you can't look at it, than a normal buckle. The real kicker is that it won't stay buckled....ever. Once its buckled, you can pull on it with all your strength and it won't come off, but if it even gets flicked from the side a little, the magnet releases and it comes apart. So basically anytime you move your head, and the buckle touches your jacket collar, it releases. If I buckle it at the bottom of the lift, it already unbuckled by the time I get to the top. Super sketchy and super uncomfortable having the straps flopping all around. Not to mention the venting system, which does vent nicely, broke after the first use (refunded). The lever that opens and closes the vents seems super cheap and just stopped moving any of the vents after the first day of use. I'm giving it an additional star because I really like the fit and look of the helmet. I really wanted to love this helmet. Super disappointed. On to the next I guess.

great helmet for certain head shape

This is an excellent helmet. I have had 2 different ones. It is excellent and would recommend it to anyone who has a head which is longer front to back... not completely round or wide... I normally wear a XXL helmet in any other style including Sweet Protection... so if you have a head that is longer front to back than side to side this is your go to... my only criticism is that the BOA system is not well padded in the back... I am completely bald -- so when I dont wear a balaclava or hood the BOA rubs on my neck and chafes... this is probably not a problem for those with hair...

Comfortable and stylish

I love the cutouts in the earflaps. No more squashed ears. The magnetic chin strap is efficient and effective. The vents are easy to open and close. I find it very comfortable. I will say, with the vents open, it sounds like (quiet) Alpine yodelers are accompanying me down the hill: a not unpleasant phenomenon.

Nice Ventalation - Recommend

The best part about the helmet is the ventilation system. Previous to this helmet, I was using the Oakley Mod 5 MIPS, making me overheat. My head would be drenched no matter the temperature. The Switcher keeps it nice and cool. Also, have a little more ear space. You might notice a howl from the airflow through the helmet. That's the only the con about the helmet. Also, in comparison to the Oakley helmet, I feel less like a Pachycephalosaurus.
