Good for Golf except for Colors.
Good for golf. Need better colors! The colors of the hat are all boring. White no longer offered? Please offer cheaper one without the “cape”.

Like the folding brim, excellent protection
I have three of these hats. I keep one in the car and one in my backpack so I always have it on hand. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket. It stays on well in windy conditions if you snap it under your chin. I wish it came in more colors. Fun ones. I would love orange or teal or fuchsia.

Nice hat but doesn't last
This hat has been great for walking and driving around town since the sun is so hot in Southern Arizona. However, after only three months the back stitches came out so the neck cape no longer stays on, which defeats the whole purpose of this hat for me. I can sew it back together, but it's disappointing that the quality doesn't last up to its promise.

Pretty OK
Extremely effective and comfortable, even under a bicycle helmet. It is bulky so take that into account. If I was doing a multi-day hike or outdoor festival I would definitely pack this a long. It's a little snug if you've got a fat head.

Super-versatile folding cap for hours in the sun
Have worn all over the Indo-Pacific islands. Excellent sun block, and also super-convenient - can fold and fit in your packet. Simple quick-tightening when the wind picks up. Stays on even in speeding boats. And fits my large head! Highly recommended for adventure travel in the sun.

I've purchased 5 Sun Guides...keep them coming!
I've purchased the Sun Guide in 3 different colors for hubby in the L/XL size (also one for my dad) and one color for myself in the S/M size. I LOVE the foldable brim. With the cap pulled low and the cape buttoned up, it gives amazing sun protection. The cape is also long enough to completely cover your neck. I think it also looks amazing worn without the cape too. Just waiting for another S/M to go on sale so I can get a second color! Also love the adjustable sizing strap. Since it clips on and off, it's very handy for clipping to my purse strap when not in use.

Not like older one
Have owned beige for yrs with no issues. Recently bought blue but it's made differently and leaves a giant ridge across my forehead.
