Good! Cute!

This is my first backpacking tent and I like it!! It's cute and unique and affordable. It's much more spacious on the inside than I expected and the interior pockets on the walls of the tent are so useful. Hoping to use this for many years. I do plan to eventually get a more expensive but lighter one person tent because this tent is heavy but if you split up the poles and tent itself it's less bad. Oh I was disappointed because the picture has birds on the side of the rain fly but the actual tent does not have birdies. :(

Warm and easy to setup

My wife used it for car camping. She never set up a tent by herself before so I showed her how I do it, she was happy with this tent.

Can't Beat it for the Price

Great light weight backpacking tent. The two doors make it feel larger on the inside. Good gear loft and pockets. I'm sure there are lighter tents for more money, but you cannot beat the value/price proposition of this tent. I liked it enough that I bought a second tent for backpacking with my kids.

This tent is a little heavier, but man for the money it’s amazing.

An excellent ten

An excellent tent for hiking, plenty of space for two, and even three people will be comfortable in cold weather. It's quick to set up and take down. I recommend it.

Bought it as a crash pad for the TMB if refuges don’t have space. Quick set up without reading the instructions. Price was right.

Literally best tent for the price

I have used the tent several times a few times in the winter in coastal Alaska and a few other times throughout the year in heavy rain and also nice summer days. The rain fly has great ventilation for the winter camping not building up a lot of moisture inside even when camping on snow. I did buy a simple footprint to use with it just for some of the rough terrain and heavy weather I use it in but it does great. It is definitely a little heavy but in the harsh environment I use it in it is worth the weight. I have used it for simple overnight hikes and 4-5 day backpacking trips it does everything you need and with two people it is really tight but as is every two person backpacking tent. And the biggest thing is this tent is almost always on sale and I personally don’t think you could get a better tent for the price.

Awesome
I took it out this pass week and it did awesome. This is my first ⛺️, and for the price it’s pretty great. It’s not a two person tent though. I used my stoic cloud pad with it and it took up quite bit room. I had enough to put two bags in there and my shoes.

AWESOMENESS

I really like this tent a lot. I am a gearhead myself and love the outdoors and own multiple tents (Big Agnes, MHW, Marmot, and MSR) for different adventures and seasonal conditions. You cannot beat the price and backed up with lifetime guarantee, love that about Backcountry products. Easy set up. The poles are the same on each end so you do not have fiddle around which way the poles go on the body or even the vestibule. Material is super solid. Winter camping could work with this. I seriously would bring this tent winter backpacking. Great coverage. Thicker vestibule to handle harsher conditions. Good clearance from the tent body with the vestibule with snow build up on the ground or rain upon. Good size vestibule, with both sides to store your backpack and shoes. If you want to blend in with nature, this would work better at a construction site. Just kidding. But it is very bight orange! But in some situations where you need to be visible, this is the perfect tent. Not a big deal for me. My external tie down worked great to add strength to the tent in a possible storm. I was able to equalize the 2 loops on the body with one anchor point. Inside has a lot of features. Double sided entry that opens the whole side panel, making it easy to get in and out and putting your pad in if pumped outside the tent. Storage is really nice on the mesh walls and ceiling. I like the gear loft attachment above, a bonus. Great head clearance inside the tent. Nice space inside even with x2 25inch wide Nemo pads. Good head room, did I mention that? I like the additional ventilation openings if you have to seal the tent up in a storm. Some minor suggestions and thoughts: I changed out the stakes, made it 5lbs total. You could make the tent slightly lighter with a lighter tent bag that it goes in without the bells and whistles of straps. No footprint, but use a tarp underneath. My only concern, the cross pole at the top from one door to the other door, I could see wearing a hole on the vestibule (not enough reinforcement of protection/ wear and tear), needs more reinforcement or have a piece of fabric with a hole that the pole ends attach inside to which will help minimize rubbing or wearing out the vestibule (near the top of the vestibule zippers). I cut out a cube foam and put a small hole in it to bud the end of the poles to give it more protection/less wear and tear on the vestibule. Well, that is my review. I would recommend this to anyone looking for great quality and affordable price point. It might not be the lightest 2 person tent, but it is still AWESOME!
