You think you are might be between a medium and a large in most leggings, You need to size down and buy a small in these. They run very large! Yes, you can barely see underwear lines and any cellulite does not show through. You really, really need to size down. I wear a size 10-12 and should have purchased a small. Great leggings if the correct size is purchased.

Ordered two pair of these leggings in size M, as recommended by the size chart. Upon taking them out to the package they had a off-gassing plastic smell to them. The fabric isn?t soft and I don?t particularly like it. I tried them on and holy smokes I should have listened to the other review about them hitting above the high waist. They were way to long on my torso. When I looked at my ankles I noticed the hem of the leggings were flairing out; the product picture did not show this. When I tried on the other pair (hoping they would be better) they were worse. They fit way looser than the other pair despite being the same size. Also noticed that the stitching was funky, like the tension was too tight on the machine that sewed them. Overall the quality of these leggings seems poor (and cheap), I will definitely be returning them. I do not recommend them at all. Backcountry needs to go back to the drawing board on these leggings. Probably will never order a backcountry brand again. It was that bad.

These are true high-waisted leggings. I was surprised to find that the waistband covers my belly button and the hem is right above my ankle bone even though I am a lanky 5?9?. They stay in place without being too tight. The fabric is nice and not disco-shiny but it does collect pet hair. It?s been too hot to wear for exercise yet so I have only used them casually but I expect they would stay in place.

Didn?t work for me!

I?d been eyeing these leggings for a minute now and finally decided to order a couple pairs. I bought a large. I?m about 5? 5??. I have hips but not much of a booty. The leggings were a comfortable material. The fabric color was bold and pretty. The leggings were just too tall. I don?t mind a mid rise legging but this one felt like the leggings came up too high and the crotch went too low. These would probably be great for someone with a longer torso or someone who might need a little extra fabric in the front. They just didn?t work for my body type. Will be returning!
