Why We Like the Centerline Rounded Rotor
SRAM's Centerline Rounded Rotor offers smooth and quiet braking that's reliable when we're in a pinch. The rounded edges help for easier wheel installs, and the 12-spoke design reduces warping after heating up. A stainless steel construction optimizes the strength-to-weight ratio, and the Centerline Rounded Rotor is compatible with both mountain and road bike brakes.

You might need a different lockring
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
On my DT Swiss 350 hubs, the external lockring (that came with the wheels) wouldn't get tight enough to lock on the disk. This wasn't a problem before with the 6-bolt disks and centerlock adapter that came with the wheels. I had to use an internal wrench lockring (that usually come with MTB discs) instead and it worked great. So just keep in mind you might need that lockring with certain hubs.

Good rotor, bad package, no fixing bolt
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I like the rotor - it does what it's supposed to do. BUT the packaging is terrible. Normally, I don't care what packaging is like for bike parts, but a rotor is fragile. They get bent, contaminated, etc. pretty easily, which is why they're often packaged with some protective wrapping and packaging. This came in a box with a designed-in hole, doing little to protect the rotor from contaminants or other damage. Mine came just fine, but if you don't get that lucky, be prepared to have to return or exchange. Also, every other rotor manufacturer I've used includes the centerlock fixing bolt with their rotors - be forewarned that SRAM cheaped out there and does not. I happened to have a spare around, but if you don't, beware.

Doing What They Do Best - Just Better

These rotors are awesome! I have a wheel set with the 6-bolt version, and needed an upgrade on a second wheel set w/ centerlock so I got the same rotors.
