Easy Install
The tires were a great fit—- very easy to install. I could not find arrow indicators but the tread made it obvious.

Tall profile sits higher on rim
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
The Armadillo is a seemingly indestructible, but note if you're sizing up, these have a taller profile. I've been running 26mm Armadillos on my SL4 Tarmac for wet training rides, and recently sized up from 25 to 28mm with S-Works Turbo T5s on my carbon rims, and loved the ride feel! So, I thought I'd do the same with these, but nope! Where the Turbos leave ~3-4mm to spare to the downtube, the Armadillos ended up tight against it. No luck. So I'm back to the 26s. (the Tarmac has a very tight 405mm chain stay, so your mileage may vary)

They ship shaped, not folded
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These tires are shipped in their regular shape, not folded, which makes them easier to get on the rim. I've used these for cross-country bike touring, commuting and competing in triathlons with questionable road conditions. These are my go-to tires.
