Why We Like The Squad Goggles
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying
“These goggles offer crystal-clear vision with the ChromaPop lens, making it easy to spot changes in terrain. The anti-fog tech works like a charm, even on stormy days, and the fit is super comfortable with my helmet. Perfect for every condition on the mountain.”
We enjoy fog-free visibility while we chase fresh snow across the resort. The Squad Goggle is Smith's OG reliable goggle, a few steps above their basic models, but without all the bells and whistles we're just as happy to pass up. Their generous frames offer a wide field of vision, with Chromapop lenses to sharpen up the contrast on low-light days.

Almost perfect but amazing all around.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I purchased the Sun Black lens option of this product. I wore them on a blue bird spring day at Monarch Mountain. It was 41°f and the snow was shiny and reflective in many places. These goggles were absolutely phenomenal, they were perfect for direct sun and bright snow, I never had trouble seeing the fall line or observing future obstacles. I had actually worn them during a wind storm (walking my dog for several blocks) a few days prior to hitting the mountain, and even in cloudy/overcast skies it was phenomenal. I just wish it had a bit more peripheral view.

Cheap Silicone, Sticky Strap!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
After only one use and proper storage the new goggles purchased a year ago are already breaking down. The strap adhesive is sticky and coming off leaving a glue like substance on anything it touches. Please be aware before you purchase this model.

I got these for my brother as a christmas gift and so far he loves them! They're fairly standard, but high quality goggles. We enjoy all the different color options as well. No fogging issues thus far!

Good goggle
Great goggle especially for the price. If taken care of property will not fog and will do a good job. I found the photocromatic red lens will work on 99% of the days in any weather.
