great socks and worth the extra $

wear ankle length socks daily for work for 8 years. this is the third generation of ankle length work socks-started off with a multi pack from backcountry (dont remember brand) and they lasted 5 years but not a lot of cushion, then got some dang tough, more cushion and very durable. got some smartwools last year and really like the cushion, durability (wear a couple of times before they need to be washed) and the heat regulation in hot and cold weather is excellent. sticking with the smartwools

Best socks ever!

This is my third pair and I love these socks! I?m a mail carrier and walk 10+ miles per day and need good reliable socks year round and these rock!
