Waist is Big

Our spring turned cold and snowy, so I haven't had a chance to wear this yet. But in trying it on, it is way too big in the waist. I'm disappointed, since I used the size chart to pick my size. If I pull the draw cord as tight as it will go, it feels like the skort won't fall down while I am wearing it, but the fabric on the waist clumps up and looks unflattering. The fit in the hits and butt is good, so sizing down probably wouldn't help. I'll try it when the weather gets warmer, but I might end up giving it to a friend. I got it on sale and it doesn't make sense to return it, given the cost of shipping.

Fantastic fit, fantastic fabric!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Couldn't be any happier. I have been looking for workable merino wool layer apparels for bike touring Europe. As I am short I do best with athletic fitted dresses and skirts. I was afraid this would flare out but it does not which I love! It is sporty and yet very soft and finished exterior fabric with merino wool liner/shorts. Super comfortable. It will totally work for biking and visiting by topping it with a nice long sleeve or such. It also has two side pockets! And it will be great for tennis too! Super pleased with the quality, feel and look!
