Warm
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Great for xc ski /hike/run. Bought a second pair after I tried them. Only small negative is the length - I'm short - (5'2") and with mid xc boots they are a bit snug at the bottom to pull up.

Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best, most comfortable, warm leggings I have ever owned - and I have a lot of leggings.

Love these!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these! I feel confident in the look and warmth. Wore them under my rain paints to work and was very comfortable. #sweepstakes

Do not recommend this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fit great in the legs but the waist is huge! Yes there is a drawstring bit for the price I expected better.

Second Pair- Love These!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of these fabulous leggings. I wear them from late fall straight through the winter. Perfect for hiking and cross-country skiing. Nice looking and super warm.

Very nice but unexpectedly small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I have bought Smartwool leggings before and normally XS fits perfectly for me. I purchased these in size S just to ensure they are roomy to fit an extra layer underneath for very cold days. Unfortunately, they were much smaller than expected and I could not even put them on. I have exchanged for size medium because the fabric and design are so nice! Hoping this works better. I recommend choosing a much bigger size than you normally would.

So Disappointed!

I really wanted to love these tights. The color is a nice, deep navy. They have pockets in all the right places. I couldn't wait to get these on a go for a run! However, they fit SO SMALL. I could not get them over my knees. I know my current body measurements and have used to them a practically infinite number of times to successfully purchase well-fitted clothing via the interwebs. This was not the case with these smartwool tights. I could BARELY get the leg openings over the bend in my ankle. There is no stretch or give in the fabric at all. If you can't try these on in-store, I would HIGHLY recommend you pass on these. No matter how smart they look, it doesn't matter if you can't even get them on.

I will NOT buy this product again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these one time for a 10 mile run and there is so much piling you can almost see right through the material. I submitted a email with the requested details and haven't heard a thing. I have other items from Smartwool and have never experienced this poor quality in any of them. Very disappointing.

Run for it!!!
I run with this pair, and feels like 14 degrees have felt good !! fit perfectly. I would totally buy one just like this in black and the reflective part in white.

Seams like a big problem!
I am on my third pair of the windproof merino tights and love them, they have been all over the world in all temperatures! So I thought I would invest in another pair for "everyday" use without the windproof panels and didn't think too much about the stripe on the leg. However , although they are a very similar design and same size as my other pairs, when I received them and tried them on I could barely get them past my calf because the seam detail on the calf does not have any stretch (unlike the rest of the tights or my other pair of tights which stretch and have a zipper detail at each ankle.) Unfortunately this means I will have to send them back. Very disappointing : (
