Order a size up!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I ordered a medium and it fits like a small. I consulted the size chart and clearly a medium was appropriate but it fits uncomfortably tight. Because they are underwear and I tried them on (briefly and that's not a pun), backcountry would not let me return them. I also own a pair of smartwool 250 baselayer longjohns that are high quality but also fit too snug. Do not trust smartwool's size chart for lower body wear!
