Too wide in the toe box

I've bought these in the past, but the pair I bought this year was too wide in the toe box, so too comfortable to wear. I have medium size feet, wear size 10M hiking shoes, and I am left not knowing if any Smartwool socks will fit me any more.

Got as a gift, would get as gift again

New Favorite Socks!

I am obsessed with these! I got these in the bleached aqua and the color is adorable! I got a size medium and wear a 9/9.5 in shoes, they fit perfect!

I fear they are slightly less sturdy than ones I bought years ago, but I will see. I especially appreciate the packaging : NO PLASTIC BAG. Just the socks on cardboard stock (that I can recycle) and a cool elastic band that I have put to use.

Quality sock, runs big

I purchased this to get my order to free shipping. I didn't have super high expectations, but thought it'd be another good option to add to my winter closet. The sock is thick and durable. It's made of high quality wool that does keep your feet warm. I have raynauds, which means even in spring and fall, my hands and feet are cold in MN. There are times in summer I have to go to bed with socks, so I'm pretty critical of the warmth factor. I like wearing these over leggings or skinny pants, so the sock sticks out of a low boot. The grey color is attractive. I mistakenly didn't look at the reviews close enough to see they ran large and that is my biggest complaint. These socks are huge on me. I'm going to try and dry them on high heat to shrink them. Otherwise impressed by smartwool socks again.
