Why We Like The RC7 Cycling Shoe
Let's add a little pop of color to our monochromatic look with Shimano's RC7 Cycling Shoe. We appreciate the comfort, light weight, and sleek looks this shoe provides, and we think it's ideal for optimal performance in competitions. Shimano fashions the RC7's upper from perforated synthetic leather, which is lightweight, form-fitting, and allows air circulation throughout the shoe. A rigid carbon sole and Boa closure ensure that the shoes are stiff enough and can be tightened quickly and easily so you can come out victorious in the finishing kick.

Seem to be great shoes.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've been cycling for more than 30 years. I've used other Shimano shoes, Specialized, Louis Garneau, Adidas and Sidi. All have pros and cons. I was looking for a DUAL BOA shoe and had been looking at these RC702's for quite some time to replace my Sidi Genius 10's after they broke in a crash, I'm just sick of paying such high prices for everything. When the price was ... ok.... I decided to purchase a pair. Unfortunately, all colors were sold out except these red ones. While not the color I would have preferred, they look great and when first trying them on, they seemed comfortable right out of the box, and I can only imagine as they break in, they'll be more comfy. The design is great, stiff carbon sole, high quality upper and the BOA fasteners are exactly what I was looking for. (Single BOA shoes just don't tighten up correctly in the needed places.) I'd definitely recommend these shoes for an average cyclist - like me.

Superior ventilation
I wear a size 8.5 in regular shoes, and the size 42 fits me perfectly. The superior ventilation of these shoes makes them ideal for summer wear. The dual BOA dials provide excellent adjustability.
