So with all Selle SMP saddle, the two things you'll want to consider are the amount of padding and choose your preference there, and use your pant size which corresponds to certain saddles that Selle SMP recommends. This saddle, the Men's Nymber Saddle, has a slight amount of padding which helps to keep the weight low and is recommended for cyclists with a 32-37-inch waistline.

The Nymber is quite versatile and is recommended for road, cross-country, and tri use. Its nose utilizes the unique Selle SMP signature "beak" shape that provides a flat foundation while seated, but unlike many flatter profile saddles, it helps reduce pressure on soft tissues. SMP's central channel is also incorporated, for further pressure reduction on the pudendal nerve and surrounding sensitive areas. The back of the saddle features pronounced ramping providing a perch for pushing against on the climbs and helps better divide body weight over your ischial tuberosity on either side of the channel. Furthermore, the shape reduces the overall pressure on the coccyx, increasing comfort on those long days especially over chattery roads.

The saddle uses a soft leather cover on the black version and a durable Lorica microfiber on the versions in colors. Underneath that covering is thin, elastomer foam padding for long-lasting comfort on broken tarmac and gravel, while the carbon-reinforced nylon shell is anchored into stainless steel rails that reduce corrosion while adding exceptional durability.

The Selle SMP Nymber comes in at 267mm long and 139mm wide and in a host of colors. It's handmade in Italy and has a claimed weight of 285-grams.
