Why We like The Mojito Shoe
Leading the group up to our favorite boulder in the morning and taking a trip downtown on our fixie afterwards, the Scarpa Mojito Shoes tag along on all our daily adventures without the need to change what's on our feet. When we lace up the Mojito, we experience adaptation in the form of rubber, foam, and suede. The firm Vibram Spyder sole offers lasting durability and sure footing on aggressive trails, while the rubber wrap on the toe lets you mess around on boulders, bounce from rock to rock along river banks, and climb urban walls with solid toe protection.

Great for trail and town
- Familiarity:

Well made versatile shoe with solid rock plate, toe guard, and rigid soles. Apply some water proofing and they will keep your feet dry in wet conditions and slush. I wear these mostly for around town, but they seem perfect for flat pedal gravel biking and for the <7 mile hike. The rigid soles would make my feet tired for longer distances. My feet are narrow and I sized down (a suggested by a different review). I am usually a US 12, these are 45.5. My other hikers are LaSportiva 47, which run small. If you have wide feet these may not be for you.

Better for "Lifestyle" than long days
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've had the shoe for years. I want to like them more, but unfortunately the toe box is really low profile and consistently gives me blisters on top of my toes. Blisters are pretty uncommon for me, I've run tons of ultra marathons in running shoes and finished with no blisters at all. I've decided these shoes are better for kicking around town and not for long days in the backcountry.

Bad Fit

I love Scarpa Shoes. This was the third pair of Mojitos that I have owned. The first two fit like a glove. Perfect for my feet and use. For whatever reason this pair was terrible. The fit was at best odd no matter how I laced it up. They must have changed the shoe last or did something different in the manufacture. They were fundamentally unwearable. Other than that they are great looking and seemingly well put together -- but very disappointing.

These shoes are the best I have ever had. Lite, comfortable, and look good. I love the laces that run all the way to your toes.

I put them on the first time and they were very comfortable and also provide great support and the sole is perfect for living in the mountains!
