It's flexible, slim, and close in weight to a running shoe, but gives mid-rise support and a slew of other trail features. Not normal high standard
I bought a second pair of these boots because the first pair were great (I have several other Salomon boots). Unfortunately, my feet got soaked the first time I walked through some short wet grass. I contacted the supplier who asked me to send them for testing... I sent them off and haven't heard anything since...

Frankly, Solomon shouldn’t be selling these and flat out made a mistake in making these. They are too narrow. I have narrow feet in a size 10.5 and they squeeze my arch badly. Borderline ridiculous that someone at Solomon “okay”d” these as they came off the assembly line.

Lite weight in every sense
Would not use them for hiking, challenging terrain, or cold environments. Sole is slippery on wet smooth surfaces (footpaths, concrete, rock). Not supportive enough for carrying more than the light day pack. BUT if you are after a very comfortable boot suited to easy trails then it might be what you are after.

Good comfortable
Well designed shoes. Comfortable to wear and very light. I have tried this shoes in various outdoor condition without any problems. Good grip especially when you walking on the wet surface. Good protection to your feet and ankles.

The size I ordered was the same (size 9) as the previous pair of Salomon boots but is about a hjalf size bigger

Not so camp!
Looks great and works well for an everyday shoe. The sole reminds me of communion at church as it is wafer thin and not that comfortable. Waterproofing is fantastic as I fully immersed them and was totally dry. Wouldn’t take them serious camping/rugged hiking which is what I bought them for. Regrettably the Salomon shoes I wanted were out of my reach. I should have waited longer and saved more.

Too Slim For Me
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I bought this shoe and loved the way they looked. The materials seemed very durable. I wear a 9.5 in other Salomon hiking shoes but these were just too slim. Unfortunately I had to return them. I have very slim feet and have never had issues with shoes being too skinny so I was surprised at how slim these fit. Maybe you could go up half a size or even a full size and they would work for you but they are already a bulky boot and sizing up too much would make me look like I was wearing clown shoes I think.

Looks ok, feels terrible

Really wanted to like these shoes. Have heard good things about Salomon, and these look good, are light, waterproof, seem flexible for a lot of activities, but they fail as soon as you put them on. I have very average size and shaped foot, and have never returned a pair of shoes before, but I could not even wear these for a few minutes. The front of the shoe is so tight it restricts circulation to toes, and the heel feels like the widest part of the whole thing. Unless your foot is shaped like a hot dog this is far from the best choice.
