When the treetops are touching the ground we toss on Salomon's GORE-TEX INFINIUM Windstopper Pro Jacket. It keeps us protected from those unexpectedly fast winds with a totally windproof and pleasantly breathable GORE-TEX membrane. And even with that wind-wall protection, the Pro Jacket is still super stretchy for unimpeded trail runs or nordic tours.

Very warm, but chest pocket busted.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I used this for runs and mtn bike rides for about 3 weeks in temps from teens to 40s and it?s super comfortable, breathes, warm, etc. However, today I had an issue with the chest pocket. I popped my iPhone in there as usual, stepped out of the garage into the driveway and my phone was on the pavement. The bottom of the chest pocket totally busted out. Maybe I got a lemon, idk, but it didn?t hold up to well. Beware. Backcountry was cool and is sending me a new one, but phone will be stored somewhere else from now on.
