First Impression

I was looking for decent synthetic sleeping bag with a right hand zip which would be good for Spring, Summer and a dabble in Autumn. My Bivvi has a RH zip and all my other sleeping bags have a left hand zip which is a bit awkward. I spotted the RAB Solar 2 and decided to take a punt. I am so glad I did. The quality is as one would expect from RAB and although a tad more expensive than some others, I think its money well spent. The materials are very strong and the zip is really nice and smooth, no snagging at all, the fit is really nice, I'm a big lad and I find the space inside the bag perfect for me, I don't like to feel closed in. When I got in for the first time (in the kitchen) it quickly became apparent how warm the bag is, it soon became too warm and I had to get out. I am really happy with this and glad I purchased it. There are currently no reviews anywhere so I thought it best to offer my thoughts. I'm guessing this is a new product. 5 stars from me
