Disappointed

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

It's the first coat I've ever bought where it came smelling of a couple of different foul odors...I've initiated a return immediately.

Warm, well made and stylish

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

First and foremost this thing is an absolute furnace, included and thick hood. Reasonably weather resistant and light weight. Looks and feels great, have gotten complements from strangers.

How can you not love this!?!?

Crazy warm comfortable Coat. If you want a piece that will keep you warm in all conditions this is it. Rab is THE insulation brand i trust and their construction is the best. Period. Throw in box wall construction for zero cold spots and you have a jacket thats warmer than anything else especially for its weight. I also appreciate the Nikwax treated down they use along with Pertex Quantum Pro. Top tier quality. Id highly recommend this piece to any one.

Extremely impressed with Rab

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Absolutely love the Rab positron pro quality fit and warmth. This is a piece I would have no problem selecting for cold environments such as Iceland in November. This jacket should be considered for 2020 gear of the year based on the quality and performance. Highly recommend this jacket.

Excellent jacket, for the most part

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

It?s a great belay parka, with some interesting design choices. The sleeve construction allows for wind to get through, which isn?t ideal. The chest puffs pretty far out, too. Otherwise, unbeatable hood and the overall warmth is fantastic. I?m 6?3? and 190lbs with pretty long arms - I went with a medium and couldn?t be happier. The large was way too big even with the normal layers you?d expect to have while climbing.
