Perfect length shorts for my tall son!
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
My son was so thrilled that I found these shorts in the length he needed. The shorts fit great and the waist is adjustable, so no belt needed! The material is comfortable and easy-care- no ironing needed.

Prana, what were you thinking!? The original Stretch Zion line was already perfect. Why did you take a great selling and well loved line and change it, and especially cheapen it. Bring back the OG Zions, or else!

Like everyone else has said material now seems cheaper and the button change was a bad idea.. have 11 other prana shorts/pants and the new design and change seems cheap and disappointing..

These are nothing like the old Zions
These are terrible. The button is awful. The fit is wrong. I am VERY disappointed because the previous Zion shorts are my favorite and I have them in 5 colors. I am returning these and looking elsewhere for shorts.

Love the features & cut, but...
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I love the Prana Zion II features and fit, and I have some slim-fit Zion II pants that I wear all the time. However, this specific pair (Zion II w/ 12in inseam) is definitely on the long side for shorts. For me, they go well past my knees. The photos on the product page as of July 2022 are actually for the 8 inch inseam, so be careful that you actually want a 12 inch inseam before you order that version! The waist fits the same as my Zion II pants, for what its worth, and the built-in belt is such a nice feature. 35 is just slightly loose on me, so the belt is handy, while 34 fits nicely but is a little too tight when I sit.
