Tiny Toe Box

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I've worn a fair share of cycling shoes for both indoor spin classes and on my road bike. These Pearl Izumis have TINY, NARROW toe boxes, and I would say I have a decently narrow foot. I'm normally a 42 in a Shimano and a 42 in a Fizik, but once I put socks on the Pearl 42s there was no way I could even walk comfortably in them, much less ride. They remind me of the entry level Louis Garneau cycling shoes. I don't think I'd be willing to go up a size knowing how narrow the toe boxes are.

Dirty Shoes

I just received my shoes today, paid for express shipping. The shoes I received look worn and dirty! So disappointing.
