Great Shell, Just a Little Too Long
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Was looking for new hooded shell for lift-access skiing. Bought a bunch to try on at home with layers, pants, and helmet. Almost kept this one, but it was just a litttttle too long (I'm 6' 1" 200# with a 34ish waist) ? the back/bottom gets stuck under my butt when go from standing to squatting/sitting. Wished it slid up naturally ? envision this being annoying getting on the chair, or just skiing normally. Great helmet-sized hood, and love the left forearm lift pass pocket. I've had two shells in 30 years, and next one needs to be perfect. This and the HH Alpha Lifaloft came close (the HH insulation a bit too much). Great shell but returned.

Great jacket with unfortunate colors
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I got this jacket and matching pants at a great price and was so stoked to try them out... which is when I realized that the jacket with matching pants color looks terrible. I think there is something about the human mind that expects the there to be at least a subtle difference between your bottoms and top. I don't know, I loved the features and feel of the jacket and pants, but I just could not get over how it looked together. Maybe other people like this look but I couldn't get over how it looked. Separately I highly recommend them, I just wouldn't combine the untracked jacket and pant together.
