All around fantastic shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These shorts hit all the marks for me. They are durable. I bought a pair a couple years ago and wore them just about any day the temp outside was like 45+. Unfortunately, they started to fray on the bottoms. Patagonia offered to warranty the shorts but they had actually become too big, so they recycled them for me instead. They offer a lot of utility. There are 2 front pockets and 3 back pockets. 2 of the back pockets are deep and go down to the bottom seam and 1 is smaller and sewn into the large back on the right. So the shorts function a lot like cargos but without the look if that's not your jam. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them and folks are usually impressed when I get excited and show them how much cargo room they have. The shorts are quite oversized in appearance but not in terms of sizing, which I like.

Sloppy

I?ve worn stand up shorts for well over 20 years. The ones I ordered last year and this year are sloppy and wider in the leg. It?s like wearing a kilt.
