Great Overall with a Few Misses
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I?m 6?1? and 215 lbs and the jacket fits perfectly. I can wear a base layer and middle layer without issue. The Crater Blue is a great color?in darker conditions it looks almost like a teal green and in direct sunlight it?s a really unique blue. Jacket breathes well. One miss is there is no soft chin guard like there is on the neck. Skiing fast can become a little uncomfortable as the Goretex shell material is hitting your chin and lips. Another miss is that it?s a little boxy of a fit. It?s not tapered or an athletic cut. It?s straight up and down. It?s also a bit heavy for a shell. Overall though, it?s a great jacket and I?m happy with it.

Wanted to like it
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I am 5'8" and 178 pounds, ordered a medium since many reviews said shell runs large. Sleeves reached past my knuckles, hem reached below my crotch and below my butt. Because of the low hem, I couldn't comfortably sit down without hiking up the jacket. A zip up/ zip down zipper would have solved this, but the only zip up / zip down zippers are in the arm pits, why are they needed there? Strangely cut jacket, I have both larges and mediums that fit way better than this. It is both too large and too small. I wanted to like this jacket, but it is a disappointment. You need to try one on before paying for shipping and return.

Great jacket - fit can be an issue
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is the best ski/snowboard shell I?ve ever owned. I?m 5?10?, 170lbs, athletic build and I?m i. Between a small and a medium. This jacket runs bigger than most. The sleeves are a bit long and there?s a bit more room in the chest than I?d like but a small is just a bit too tight around the waste. I owned this jacket for 5 years in a large prior to buying this one. I recently lost 30 lbs the old one didn?t fit anymore. Despite using it at least 10x year for 5 years, my old one still looks brand new. The jacket is hearty and almost impossible to tear, even if you?re an aggressive in the tree glades. I only wish they?d adjust the fit a bit smaller. Great jacket!
