You want to stay cool on the wall, but bunched up shorts under your harness are anything but comfortable. The Women's Patagonia Hampi Rock Pant is an easy way to stay pleasantly cool on a sunny multi-pitch or stuffy gym without sacrificing comfort or modesty, and the hemp-polyester blend is lightweight and breathable without sacrificing durability, so you can take it up a rough crack or two. The pockets and waistband are designed for barely-there comfort beneath your climbing harness, articulated knees give you on-the-wall mobility, and the elastic cuffs are easy to pull up when you need extra ventilation.

Great Casual Pants!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I love these pants. I am not a rock climber and I was looking for something relaxed but not sweatpants. I ordered a large and they feel a bit big but I like the fit a bit looser. I have worn these to work and have done day hikes in them, great for both occasions. I definitely want to pick up a second color.

Great Lightweight pant
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I’m very happy with the Hanoi Rock Pant. I bought a large, my typical size and it fit perfect, not too big nor baggy. The pants are lightweight, I tend to run hot, and these are not too heavy for me. They a great pant for a hike in the woods or just a brisk walk. I bought both the rosehip and dolomite blue pairs.

Runs really big
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I was super excited for these pants and opted for the bigger size since the reviews I read said they can be snug on the hips. When I tried them on they were MUCH larger than I would have liked.

Good Looking pants

I just got them so I can't speak about durability but they look really cute for both every day and active wear. I went with my bigger size, I think this fit looks better a little loose and although I think I would fit the smaller size it does make it easier to pull them up. Light and comfortable.

Comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I initially bought the XXS per the size chart and they looked great once I got them on. The drawstring area was a little hard to get over the hips due to lack of elasticity like stated in other reviews. I probably would have kept them despite that but I have long legs for my height and the leg length & lack of stretch in the material caused lack of flexibility when bending my knees, so I could not use them for climbing. I ended up exchanging them for an XS. The XS is a little loose on me in the waist and hips, but the leg length gives me better flexibility to move in them and use them for climbing.

Comfortable pants but sizing issues
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Had great expectations of these pants since how light they are and I love hemp material. But big sizing issue for me. Ordered size S according to measurements and it was VERY wide on my waist, pulling drawstring didn?t even help. Reordered size XS and it?s too small and hinders movement?maybe a particular case for me but I eventually went for Caliza with more specified numbered sizing instead. I did feel Caliza stretched better. But the color is very cute and material is nice (very light and breezy) so if it happens to fit you snatch it.

Great fit for curvy bodies
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Like the other reviews mentioned, these pants are quite snug getting over the hips but fit perfectly once on. As someone with a small waist and larger hips/bum, I struggle to find active, non-legging pants that don't gap in the waist and these fit very well. These pants would be quite short on a taller person, as I'm 5'5' and they sit above my ankles. I'm not a rock climber but I love the cinched ankles for hiking with my dog. No worries about anything hitching a ride in pant cuff or wiggling up a loose pant leg. Very pleased with this purchase!

They're OK
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The drawstring on these pants are for looks pretty much. If you're hippy or have a butt at all these pants take some wiggling to get on. Once on they fit true to size. Now the material: I wear these climbing in the gym and they hold onto chalk so bad! I usually wipe my other pants off with a damp paper towel so I can grab some food after climbing but these pants have to be washed after every wear (if climbing and that's why I bought them) and that's too wasteful for me. I like to get a few climbs in. They're not that stretchy but they're comfy and the length and color are nice so that's why they're not only 1 star.

Favorite pants

I?m a smaller guy and decided to buy these- they?re the best climbing pants. I?ve worn them through brutal bushwhacks, scummy climbing and they haven?t even torn.
