Why We Like the Garden Island Pant

We love the way the ocean breeze playfully flutters the loose-fitting pant legs of Patagonia's Garden Island Pant during our sunrise beach walks. This summery style has been redesigned with a more versatile silhouette and the same billowy hemp- and Tencel-blend fabric. A stretch waistband offers a more comfortable fit whether we're biking to the beach or strolling the shore, and the slit leg openings offer added breathability for the hottest days of the year.

Buy them

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Bought these for my south east Asia backpacking trip and would wear them literally every day if wash day wasn’t a thing. They are so breathable and light weight, the fabric is perfect. I’ve worn these hiking in 95 degree and humid weather, walking around temples on 100 degree sunny days, as a beach cover up, and on freezing cold train rides between cities.
