Smells like perfume

I love the sweater itself, but Backcountry needs to do a better job of re-sending out returned items. This “new” Better Sweater smells so bad that I’m going to have to wash it a few times before I can wear it.

Better Sweater 1/4 zip

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The best and most versatile 1/4 zip I own. It looks good enough to wear out and about but also is the warmest mid layer I own and can be used for so many different activities from skiing’s to hiking and camping

Happy with Purchase

Familiarity:

Better quality than other fleeces I've purchased. XXXL is bulky loose fit for me but offers a very comfy look and feel. Waste is much looser than the shoulders. XXL is weirdly way smaller than XXL, I do not understand it. XXL fits but has a snug fit throughout similar to Kuhl but the body/torso is longer (I'm tall so Kuhl eventually gets too short for me); hopefully these Patagonia's won't shrink as bad.

Great all round fleece

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm a big fan of this fleece. It's warm, stylish and fits great. I own the royal blue and a green version. I'm in Texas and it's the perfect level of warmth to throw in your car for the 4 months of the year where its in the 40s- 50's. I also took it over to London at the beginning of April and found that it was perfect... as long as it wasn't raining, but it is what it is. It's a little longer and loser than the same version by Arc'teryx, so it can go over more layers if needed. It's best for around town or by a campfire, it's not the most technical, but it's also not trying to be. I'm a muscular 5'8" and run 220- 225, I went with the large and it's perfect.

Great Sweater!!

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My son absolutely loves his Patagonia 1/4” zip sweater. It’s very casual or can be worn to a dress up function. Very comfortable.

I bought this for my husband as a ski mid-layer. It's perfect for below 0-degree frozen weather!

Basic, Bitchen, Bonser

Patagonia means quality. I have four of these. I use them for layering for skiing, pullover for chilly mornings in the house, impersonating a French mountain guide, very very useful, and very svelte. I buy these every year as Christmas gifts for the guys in the family. Piece of advice, shave before wearing, reduces pilling of the fleece around the neck, as fleece and sandpaper don?t mix, apparently. Fit is true to size, although larger necks (like mine) will find the fit snug, but not a problem. I give this item my highest recommendation.

Very comfortable sweater! Nice and warm but breathable. Perfect sweater to take out on the trail, out camping, and even a dinner in town after you're done.
