If you've ever driven through Tunnel View and watched Yosemite Valley open up beneath you or spotted elk grazing among the pinyon pines before reaching the mind-altering vistas on the south rim of the Grand Canyon, you know that there are rarely welcomes as warm and inviting as those of our National Parks.
