Why We Like The Yukon Cap

Panning for gold is no picnic, but the fleece-lined Outdoor Research Yukon Hat keeps our head warm while we hunt for our own personal treasure playing in the mountains. Plus, we love that earflaps snap to the hat when not needed and drop down to prevent earsicles.

Very nice hat. Checks all the boxes

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Unique and well-made, what you?d expect from OR. Just watch the sizing. Quite generous. I suppose it?s hard to purchase a sized hat without first trying it on. I bought a large (I am a 7 1/4) but it was too big. I took it to a seamstress and she is adding an elastic cord which should take care of the sizing. Love that it?s sherpa fleece- lined, generous ear flaps, an a unique two piece visor which makes it easy to fold and put away (without bending the visor). Well styled, well made, thoughtful design. Just pay attention to the sizing.
