Disappointed about lack of durability
I really wanted to replace my MEC uplink hoody that had lasted me a solid 8 years of intense hard-on-my-gear adventuring (I ice climbed, rock climbed, biked in rain and snow, travelled and sleep in this puffy for 8 full years with only a few holes and 2 zipper repairs). I wanted something that did the same job but was honestly a bit better looking than the infamous MEC puffy. This was pretty warm and lightweight, and it did look a lot better so I could wear it all the time in the city too or bring it travelling. However after 6 months of city living and only a few mild adventures (mostly walks in the woods lately), there are so many holes in this puffy that I don't even wear it anymore because it looks pretty raggedy. The durability seems poor enough that it doesn't seem worth repairing all of the holes. I really liked this until I realized it would not work for what I was hoping it would. I've since heard of other people who have repeated the same thing about this jacket. Unfortunate!!

Love it! Will buy more if they come up with new colors
The fit is perfect and is super warm for how light it is. I love the color and how the sleeves go a little over my hands. I'm planning on wearing this on the slopes on sunny days. The color is just as pictured. For reference, I got size XS and I'm 5'4 115lbs.

Warm and Light
The weight is the first thing you'll notice when you pick up this gem of a hoodie. Deceptively light, you'd think it couldn't possibly provide much warmth. You'd be dead wrong. This hoodie punches way above its weight class when it comes to keeping cold and wind at bay. I was amazed that such a lightweight layer could feel so cozy and protective. The fit is perfection - trim but not tight. I would say that the sizing chart is on point. It hugs your body just so to trap heat while giving you full freedom of movement. The cuffs and hem provide a nice snug seal to prevent heat loss and cold air infiltration. Whether I'm lounging around the house, a campfire or taking a brisk autumn hike, the comfort is perfect. Bottom line - amazing warmth and wind resistance for the weight. If you want max comfort with minimum weight, grab this hoodie (or jacket version) right now.

Super comfy
Like all things OR, the quality is top notch. This is very similar in feel to the weight of a Patagonia nano puff which has been a favorite for years. Love how light, yet warm it is.

Light and warm
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I love how light it is and yet warm without all the bulk. I use it as mid layer and it’s absolutely perfect. It’s not water repellent but it’s fast to dry. To wear it as standalone jacket is mainly good in spring and early fall. The yellow color is perfect. Sizing is great. I’m happy overall.

Yes
I use the jacket for everyday around town, ski jacket over a warm mid layer. Super comfortable but the fabric is a bit thin and I am hard on my clothing so not a durable fabric for my lifestyle. I also have the Shadow hoody jacket and that is much more durable and quite warm too.

New go-to Jacket
Great coat that is perfect for chilly fall days with just a long sleeve base layer. If it's colder, this jacket will work fine with a thicker base layer. I have used it down to 20 degrees while hiking with a pack and was hot. Actually took the jacket off and went with just my long sleeve base layer. Jacket is packable and looks great as a casual outerwear piece. Has a looser fit than some other puffys but this is good for layering. Glad I bought this, it's my go-to.

Beautiful & Warm
This is a beautiful jacket with the same quality always delivered from OR. I have so many different coats and jackets. This is great, in our area, for spring, summer and fall. Warm enough to wear for short trips out in the winter. It is great becuase its fashionable and warm but not bulky.

Concerned about losing strands
This jacket is so aptly named "SuperStrand". I've only had the jacket for a few months and haven't worn it a lot. After the 4-5th time wearing it in very normal conditions (for walks etc), I noticed the filling started coming out. Long, synthetic strands. This is really concerning, especially since I haven't rubbed up against anything and don't have punctures in the jacket and am still shedding plastics. The fit of the jackets was great, and I love the level of warmth it provides, however with the shedding I'm not sure what to do with this jacket as I feel like I can't wear it anymore.
