Excellent sizing for athletic/tall
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I'm almost 6ft tall, and athletic/muscular, which can make it challenging to find ladies sizing in outdoor clothing that fits a woman's shape. This fits the bill! A miracle - it actually fits my hips/bootie, and goes all the way to upper hips, as an alpine parka should! Half star off, which is esthetic only - in the yellow, the fabric is rather see-thru, and the inside stuffing is multicolored, and looks a little odd. Very lightweight with a stuff sack. Taking this one mountaineering!

Warm and Comfortable Belay Jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
If you are climbing in under 30F weather regularly this is the jacket for you. It is insanely warm. To warm for anything by above freezing. 5’3 130 lbs and size small fit great.

Super warm, but worried about zipper
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This jacket is great, but definitely size down. I?m consistently a size small in OR (and every brand, unless the sizing is junior, then I go medium for shoulder room), but wow, I was swimming in a small. I exchanged for an XS and even still there is plenty of room in the body for layers. Sizing aside, I love the length - it hits just below my butt (I?m 5?6) and has been great for windy belays and camping on a winter climbing trip to Spain. Very warm. I?m confident it?ll stay cozy for mountaineering and high elevation trekking I am worried about the zipper - it can be a bit tricky and I almost always need to zip the lower zipper up before I can zip the top one down to take off the coat. In the past, I had a good experience OR?s customer service for zippers though, so if it?s an issue down the line I?m sure it?ll be fine Also the stuff sack provided is worthless. Super thin and the elastic used to close the bag pulled out within a week I also don?t love the thick elastic at the cuffs - maybe with big gloves I?ll appreciate them, but otherwise I keep them as loose as possible, otherwise it?s a bit irritating on my wrists. I ordered this jacket and the RAB neutrino pro and kept this one mostly because of the length
