All in all a great shell however...
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
To me, anyway, this jacket seems to be made very well. I thought it had a powder skirt, which it doesn't, but that was most likely my mistake. As for sizing. I generally wear a Medium to medium slim. I have a long torso at 5' 9' with a 29" inseam. Yet, this jacket was long in the body and 4" long in the sleeve, So order a size down and take your chances. I am returning mine.

Barely waterproof; wets easily
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This jacket is ok for light falling snow, but in heavy snow or rain, it gets wet in about 15 minutes. For me this defeats the purpose of a shell because I'd have to wear a rain jacket on top of it to keep dry.

Good but slim fit
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Great jacket, the give in the fabric provides good freedom of movement. The high cowl provides excellent wind protection on the chairlift, covering the lower face, and I really like the sci-fi look of this feature (other reviewers were less enthusiastic). Unfortunately I put too much credit in Mathew’s review (May 23). Like other OR jackets, it is slim fitting with limited room for a warmer mid layer or thin down, so for me it’s use will be limited to near zero temperatures (C). The arms are plenty long, but with a more barrel chest, I should have sized up but out of US so return was not an option.
