Ideal for hiking and climbing, these softshells sport a quick-drying wind-and water-resistant ripstop construction that protects you from variable weather, with a design that features a comfortable stretch and articulated knees for free movement on the wall. OR stuck a zippered pocket on the thigh for easy access when you've got a harness on, and the lightweight construction feels breathable on warm days but protects you well on windy spring climbs as well.

Sizing is bad enough to undo positives

Familiarity:: I've used it several times

OR makes many good items, like one of my favorite hats. However, not everyone can make great pants, and OR is one of the companies that should focus on other things which they are good at. These pants are amateurish in conception and execution. They fit awkwardly, as if the designer wasn't familiar with the human body but only modeled the fit from imagination. The crotch sits low, almost like the "sagging" skinny jean look, while the legs are thin and strangely shaped. Ordering in my own size ended up looking a size too small in everything but the waist, which is slightly too big. But aside from making you look like you can't afford clothes that fit, it's a pleasant light fabric and would be nice to wear.

Great pants! Super comfortable!

These are the best pants ever. The material is very soft and breathes well. Looking forward to wearing them.
