Short is still long
For those customers with shorter inseams, 28" or shorter, disregard this product. Backcountry labeled an inseam of 30" as short, which is ridiculous.

Great travel pants

Very lightweight and comfortable pants. Great for travel. Pack up small and look great. Can be dressed up or down.

Great pants
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Lightweight, flexible, very comfortable. Nice looking-I wore them as ‘dress pants’ while traveling. Have not been hiking in them yet, but I’m afraid they would not hold up well since they are so thin.

Super comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Put 25 miles in hiking with heavy elevation. These pants were extremely comfortable throughout the hike. It was cool ( upper 30’s in the am and low 70’s later in the day )and they were perfect for those temps. Really like the fact that they are lightweight and stretchy which made them ideal for hiking. Have been hiking for 20 years and these are the most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned . Planning to buy another pair.

Great fit, style + comfort, BUT..pilling
I purchased a number of pair 4 years or so ago but they were starting to look a little thin from fabric wear and also experience pilling of the fabric, which I "fixed" by using a razor to remove, but thought, OK, it's time for replacements. Love the style, the fit, and are very comfortable and serve as both outdoor and casual upscale. The new pairs arrived but after only two washes I'm noticing pilling of the fabric! Not good! Disappointed. Gonna' look for alternative brand.

Great pants but watch the briars
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I love these Ferrosi pants for backpacking in warmer weather. They are cool, very stretchy and light weight. They also look great. I love the feature to pull the legs up over the knee for water crossings. Only downside is they will get pilling when stuck by briars. A little more durability would be beneficial.

Good pant but prone to puncture
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I loved this pant when I bought it at a Backcountry store, it was true to size for me, and so fresh, perfect for summer weather and hot days on the trail. However, after sitting on a rock (literally sitting on) and then stand up the pant was punctured (nickel size hole), which made me reconsider the durability aspect of this piece. I only had it for 2-3 months on mostly hikes and a few low difficult scrambles. In comparison, I have a PRANA Zion 4+ years old, with some signs of age (specially around the ankles) but other than that, no punctures.

light, comfy, compact, pockets
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These are great to take on a trip. They consume almost no space, dry quickly, have pockets, look fine, and seem like they'll last longer than my cheap pants.

Rad pants

Way better fit than the older soft shells I used to wear religiously. Those were droopy butt. These are Nice and stretchy. Look good. Dry super fast. Hands are a squeeze in the upper front pockets but meh

Poor Durability

Stitching failing after 6 washings. Stitching is failing on rear seam. Inseam and back pockets. Also pulling.
