Ultralight and breathable. Definitely recommend for high output activities. I have used this for trail running and excited to use it when I climb mt. Adam’s this summer.

My favorite hot weather sun shirt

I’ve tried sun shirts from many different manufacturers and this is my favorite for hot days. It’s the lightest weight and airiest of the ones I’ve tried. I own three of them in different colors. The BD brand one is the second best in my opinion.

Great sun protection and very lightweight

Excellent sun protection and very comfortable. Typically use this backpacking/hiking/trail running. About as lightweight and thin as a shirt can be so excellent for hot days. Pebble color can be a little bit see-through because it's so thin.

Super breathable Sun Hoodie

If you want a sun hoodie for the summer, this is it. It keeps me cool and dries quickly. It doesn't boast the best SPF values but I didn't get sunburned underneath at all. Did several peaks last summer with it and it was more breathable than the REI Sahara and the black diamond alpenglow pro. The fabric isn't as soft as others out there, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Others reviews have mentioned that it pills easily, but I haven't ran into that yet.

Great shirt for layering

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This shirt is a fantastic garment. I wear it as an undershirt and the hood is great as it helps to keep my neck warm when not wearing it on my head and helps to keep my ears warm on more chilly days.

One of my go-to sun shirts - I probably have 2-3 of them at this point. This shirt is super breathable (I run really warm and this is the only sun shirt I can leave the sleeves down all the way without burning up). The thumb holes are a really nice addition, and lets me use it as a light baselayer in shoulder seasons. Fit is true to size

Light weight Sun Hoodie

Great for hiking. Lighter weight than your typical fishing sun hoodie. Used this sun hoodie for backpacking and canoeing in Minnesota. Great to block the sun. Doesn’t have a built in mask. The hood is better than a hat on the water, because a brim hat will muffle the sound around you. This shirt is for everyone.

Perfect Fit, Comfortable, and Versatile

The Echo Hoodie is a well-documented and recommended product for a reason. It fits well and true to size, is incredibly comfortable, and is perfect to add to a layering system or to wear on its own for fishing or mountaineering. If I could change one thing it would be the hood. It runs a little tight and doesn't fit great with a helmet. Overall a great buy that I will purchase again when this one wears out many years down the line.
