Why We Like The Havoc Climbing Shoe
For a one-shoe quiver at the gym, we throw the Havoc Climbing Shoe in our pack. The moderate downturn and curvature don't make us want to rip them off mid-route but still deliver powerful hooks on overhanging problems. The slipper-like design lets us easily pull them off between sends.

Excellent all-around shoes
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought these for my daughter, who's been competing for her 3rd season now. She likes a slightly stiffer shoe and really likes these for bouldering and for lead. She had a more aggressive pair of Ocun (Ozone), which worked very well but her young toes were taking a beating. We tried Scarpa Quantic (men's version), which were great too. They were a bit too soft for her though. The Ocun rubber is very sticky. Sizing is generally on the small side, tend to need to go up a size. They are her current favorite for training and comps
