Nice but Narrow
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Rio Red shoes are gorgeous, color, traction, but they are too narrow, I am 5'5 127lbs I have thin feet, I am 6 1/2 medium size sohes, I ordered 7 wide and still tight, I was hoping the shoes fit but I will have to return them.

Match made in heaven with my bunion feet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I have hard time looking for boots which fit my bunion feet. I was a bit worried that these boots felt a bit hard and ridged. When I wore these boots for the first time, I already had skin scrapes on my feet from waring my water shoes. On my all day hike through Jamaican bush in Blue Mountain, I had absolutely no pain from my already scraped up feet!!! I went into shallow creeks and leaned these boots were 100% water proof as they claimed. One foot fell into a creek to get water inside. And the boot completely dried out in a day or so to feel a brand new. Now I am back in NYC, I ware them on my walk around parks or snowy days commute to the office. They slip on icy snow. I wander if there are boots which do not slip on icy snow??? I just love these boots.

ZERO TRACTION ON WET SURFACES
I've had these boots for 3 weeks, have slipped on wet rocks multiple times, the last time I fell hard enough I thought I broke my bones. Description says all terrain grip, not true, wearing these on wet surfaces feels like you're walking on ice which would require me to put cramp ons on the boots to hike safely.

Runs Small

Normally wear size 8 wide shoes. I have the Oboz in a low cut hiking shoe size 8.5 and they are a bit loose fitting. I ordered these in 8.5 and they are narrow and too small, my toe hits. Advertised as a wide shoe? I'm sending these back and will try a size 9 and follow up.
