Why We Like The Bridger Mid B-Dry Wide Hiking Boot

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying

“These boots are perfect for long hikes on rugged terrain. The B-Dry membrane keeps my feet dry through creek crossings and rain, while the sturdy outsole offers great traction on rocky trails. Plus, the wide fit ensures all-day comfort without squeezing my feet.”

Not every hike is full of sunny skies and perfect weather, and while the Oboz Bridger Mid B-Dry Wide Hiking Boot may have the classic looks of an old school hiking boot, it's got the modern technical performance we need to trek through ever-changing terrain and conditions.

Waterproof nubuck leather and a protective B-Dry membrane keep water from getting in when the trail becomes a river, and also help maintain a breathable climate within the shoe to ensure that your feet won't get too sweaty either. The cushioned O Fit insole adds lots of underfoot comfort for those seemingly never-ending trails, and the lugged outsole not only gives you lots of traction and grip on the trail, but also sheds mud and provides solid protection from trail hazards.

Awesome

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is my fourth pair. Will not buy another brand again if this model remains available. That says it all. Older boots are still holding up and use them for around town or just day hikes

Wide is the way

I love my wide Oboz Bridgers, they're well made, rugged, and comfortable. I originally ordered the regular width version and the toe box was just too tight while everything else fit perfectly for my low volume duck feet. The boot fits a half size small to begin with but even going up to an 11.5 (usually 11) they were still too snug in the toes. So I reordered the wide version in 11.5 and perfection! Just enough room for happy toes while getting a secure fit over the instep and through the heel. Love these boots for light to medium duty hiking. FYI, these are not heavy duty boots though and won't survive long if used for off-trail duty. But for day hikes on rough trails and backpacking these are perfect.

I've used it several times

Thanks to the great sizing and product recommended by my friendly Gearhead, my feet have been very happy even in this 100 degree Texas heat. Oboz is well worth the money!!!!
