I now own 3- love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to- nice layer or top- vest keeps core warm and sleeves keep arms warm- hood is an added bonus- I wear this more than any other jacket

Can't tell you how happy I am
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a secret. I picked this up right around Thanksgiving. Just turning cold out here and boy am I glad I did. Love this jacket. Love it. Keeps my vitals warm and my arms just warm enough. When I start to overheat I just unzip. Great jacket. Looking forward to using it on my annual ski trip. I am 5'11 190 and got the large. It fits well and the arms are just a tad bit longer than needed, but on cold days when I'm using the thumbholes that extra length is appreciated.

Multi Season layer, good compliments on it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great layer to wear when weather is variable, and it's in the name, so that's good.

Great mid or outer layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great mid layer in the winter under a shell, and perfect for cool summer nights or fall mornings on its own. The windproof chest and back makes a real difference for very light weight.

Variant Hoody
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the jacket, love the knot notched out sleeves for thumb holes. This is a throw on coat for days it will be cool out. Does handle moisture that great, but kinda new that when I bought it.

diff from b4
The fit is a bit larger than the previous version. I feel that it is a bit lighter as well in terms of warmth.

Almost perfect edge season jacket (one flaw)
This is a very nice jacket, especially for the sale price. I was looking at the hoodless version, but purchased the hoodie because of the even lower price while on sale. I was looking for a technical jacket, for bike commuting in late fall and early spring. something with a little insulation and with full coverage. The primaloft insulation is perfect, retaining insulation while wet or damp is key with rain and/or sweat. at 5'9'' and 190 lbs, I'm usually between a medium and large. This is true for this jacket. Medium was just too snug, and large is a little loose in places. It fits just as expected. This jacket is perfect on it's own below 50º F and above freezing (while active), and it layers well under a heavier jacket or shell. Fashion wise, it pairs really well with an old M65 jacket when the temperature drops below freezing but still above 20º F or so. The arms are long, by design. It's a nice feature with thumb holes and provides a little extra coverage when the temperature drops. The one complaint I have is that the stretch fleece in the arms is 'sticky' on the inside. It isn't 'tacky' to feel it, but it doesn't slide easily against some other fabrics. If you are layering a long sleeve shirt under it, it can be difficult to take off and put on the sleeves of this jacket. If the shirt underneath is a slick fabric, like a technical workout shirt, you won't notice this, but if it is cotton, flannel, or a fuzzy fleece, it will hang up against the inside fabric. I mention this flaw, because several times while putting it on or taking it off I have heard threads 'pop'. Examining the seams, I can see where the threads ripped. there is a rounded seam around the top of the shoulder where the sleeve and shoulder are joined. There were several places on the seam where I could see the threads had ripped. If it gets worse, I'll have to sew these up every now and then. I think if I had gone with the medium, this would be worse.

A stylish and warm hoody
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these. One size xs for myself (since the lady version does not come with a hood) and one size m for my husband for our cool/cold weather run/walk in the morning. It looks really good and is warm. I think it will be a good base layer for mountain hike as well
